The AAMC wants to hear from students!

Here are some upcoming chances to weigh in:

  • Virtual focus group about improving the AAMC online. The AAMC is looking for ways to offer pre-medical students a more personalized experience of their resources and services online. Want to weigh in? Join an interactive virtual focus group on Wednesday, January 18, 2017, 4-5:30p ET. Open to all pre-medical students nationwide, RSVP at learnerinput@aamc.org by January 16.
  • Learner Feedback Panel. The Learner Feedback Panel — made up of 60+ pre-medical students, medical students, residents and fellows — assists the AAMC in maximizing the value of their services and resources for Learners. The AAMC seeks student leaders who are interested in making a contribution to join the Panel; the estimated time commitment is 1-2 hours a month from Jan.-Dec. 2017. This is a great chance to build peer networks and add a national volunteer opportunity to a student’s CV. To join the Panel, email lfp@aamc.org for an invitation and more details.

Can’t make these events? Visit students-residents.aamc.org/learner-input for information about upcoming input opportunities. The AAMC is a non-profit organization based in Washington, DC, serving medical schools and teaching hospitals in the US and Canada, along with their students, trainees and faculty. In recent years the AAMC has recognized the need to grow and improve in ways that better meet the needs, interests, concerns and pressing questions of pre-medical students, medical students, residents and fellows.
